Job DescriptionContributes to the development of a positive and effective partnership between Lotterywest and our retailers to achieve our business goals, specifically by: • Managing the design, development, implementation and ongoing review of Retailer Learning and Development programs to meet Lotterywest business objectives and the needs of the retail network.• Manage the activities of the Retailer Development program.• Leading and managing, through active personal contribution, in the successful operation, efficiency and effectiveness of the Retailer Learning and Development team.• Contributing to a productive organisation wide work environment and accepting corporate responsibilities involved in working for Lotterywest.The job requires working collaboratively with all team members within the Business Operations unit and all other areas of Lotterywest, which enhance our business, provide information and support or work directly with retailers.
Selection CriteriaESSENTIAL CRITERIAHigh Level Learning and Development Capabilities, in particular:a) Experience in curriculum development, program planning and management, preferably with a retail management focus and utilising adult learning and CBT & A principles, and contemporary training delivery methods. b) Experience in the delivery of training interventions for small and large groups of adults;c) Experience in training needs analysis, skills audits, training program design, assessment and evaluation;d) Possession of Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training, or equivalent qualification and awareness of AQTF standards;High Level of Business Process Review and Improvement Capabilities, in particular:a) a proven record of success in business process review and improvement techniques.
High Level Research and Analysis Capabilities, includinga) High level capability in identifying, analysing, reporting and recommending to senior management on business improvement opportunities relating to the retailer network.High Level Communication Skills and Sound Interpersonal Skills in particular:a) High level oral communication skills including representation and presentation b) High Level written communication skillsc) High level of interpersonal and team building skills
DESIRABLE CRITERIAa) Tertiary qualifications in business, management or a related field of study.b) Sound knowledge and skill in the use of Microsoft Office applications (including spreadsheets) or other similar software.
